Armenise Lecture

During the academic year, the department hosts a weekly seminar series in Goldenson 122 on Tuesdays at 12:15 PM on a variety of neuroscience topics. These seminars are open to the Harvard community. A faculty member from the Department invites speakers from around the country to present these seminars, which are designed to keep local researchers and students abreast of the broad array of neuroscience research being conducted.

Support for this seminar series comes from the Giovanni Armenise-Harvard Foundation for Scientific Research. Count Giovanni Auletta Armenise established the Foundation at Harvard Medical School in 1996. Its mission is to establish multi-disciplinary, basic science research that will support leading scientists at Harvard and at the foremost institutions in Italy, in the pursuit of knowledge and scientific discovery for the benefit of humankind, in the fields of medicine and agriculture.
